Pierrefonds — 1920s
Superb Art Deco stoneware vase from the Pierrefonds factory, with a blue and gold glaze. This factory, founded in 1903, experienced significant growth under the ceramist Émile Bouillon. Under the brand "La Faïence Héraldique," it became famous for its stoneware with flowing glazes and especially its spectacular blue crystallizations. The piece presented here is round with geometric handles, characteristic of the Art Deco style. Magnificent blue and gold glaze. Marked "Pierrefonds," 307, ink signature.
