Daum / Louis Damon — 1900
Magnificent Art Nouveau vase in blue glass decorated with gilt leaves, signed Louis Damon. Louis Damon was a French publisher and gallery owner, proprietor of the Parisian luxury boutique "Au Vase Étrusque." The glass objects were produced by the Daum brothers, while the decoration was executed in Damon's workshops. This vase is made of thick blown glass, twisted in the center and adorned with filigree gold leaf motifs. It is signed "Damon, 20 boulevard Malesherbes, Paris," the address of the Damon company until 1905.
Dimensions approximately 30 cm x 12 cm.
